COOLANT HEATERS

In this kind of engine preheater, the medium used for heating the engine to and keeping it at an optimal temperature is the coolant. Coolant heaters come in different types for optimal temperature management.

POWERHEAT

POWERHEAT’s large, corrosion-proof heating surface in a compact casing, its wide power range, different voltages, high shock resistance, pump and the fluid in- and outlet on the same side combine into a highly versatile engine preheater. Suited for medium-speed and high-speed engines alike, the POWERHEAT coolant heaters respond to the high-level requirements of many applications throughout different industries.

Carlor – Phillips & Temro

Carlor Engineering, a manufacturer of coolant heaters founded in 2000, was a European top brand when it was acquired by Phillips & Temro Industries in 2018. Since then, the coolant heaters from the TopStart, FlowStart and Thermostart series are part of the PTI brand portfolio. The different models are suited for smaller, mid-sized to larger water-cooled engines in all engine-related applications.

Zerostart - Phillips & Temro

The Zerostart tank heater is an external thermosiphon heater in by-pass system with the engine. It is suited for the smaller engine range in all engine-related industries.
To fit different needs, Zerostart offers multiple types of (electric) immersion heaters: freeze plug heaters, threaded immersion heaters, plate style heaters, and cartridge heaters.

Hotstart

Hotstart offers both thermosiphon and forced circulation heaters, as well as immersion heaters. Their circulation heaters are available in weathertight and hazardous location models therefore fitting for a wide range of installation conditions.

Calix

The Calix Professional Heater (PH) was developed for larger vehicles and gensets. The heater is equipped with overheating protection, a thermostat, and a rubber sealing for increased service life and reliability. The Calix PH models are available with two different non-adjustable thermostat settings.

Hilzinger

Hilzinger electric preheating units are used as heating systems for high-, medium- and low-speed, water-cooled combustion engines.
Nowadays Hilzinger preheaters are no longer produced, but spare parts are still available.
